It was a hard morning. As I have stated in the last blog, Katie and I have been under attack. This morning was no different. The enemy hit us again and he hit us hard. I went to our house that is under contract to be sold, and mowed the yard. As I was mowing I was listening to Corey Russell. Corey is a IHOP guy. God used Corey this morning to shake me and and remind me of some truths that I had been dancing around lately. As I pushed my mower back and forth in 98 degree heat, I cried my eyes out. It was not out of some type of chastising from God. It was out of a place in my heart that was broken because I sensed an area of my life that was not what it should be. Katie and I have come to two main truths about these attacks. The first truth is that since the day we were married satan has been trying to drive us apart. The second truth is that Satan wants us to be distracted from what lays ahead of us. We have a calling and Satan wants nothing more than for us to be about our Fathers business. So the day ended much better than it started and once again I am reminded of 1 John 4:4 "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world".
