I just watched the video for the Sigur Ros video for the song 'Glosoli'. It is off their new album 'Takk' (Icelandic for thanks). I think it is their best so far. Mar received good news this week. NKD the distribution company we have been working with confirmed Sept 1, 2006 as the drop date for release of the album in Portugal. We should get confirmation on the UK, Germany, Spain, France, and Italy in the next week or so. For now though we are happy that in September 10 million Portuguese people will have the chance to walk into a music store and buy our album. Below is a picture of Kyle the brains and voice of Mar

We went to Morningstar tonight. I love the worship there. Felt the presence of God like a wind across my face. To scared to open my eyes. The fear of the Lord is a crazy thing. My desire? To be the living Mercy Seat of God.

Sigur Ros' New Album

Sigur Ros new album came out today. It is called Takk. Which is Icelandic for thanks. I have not got it yet but I listened to it online and it sounds great. You should get it. It is even more special to me because I had the pleasure of being in the studio with Sigur Ros when they were recording this album. For those of you who don't know, I spent the entire month of February in Iceland with Kyle Reidy and his band mates, who I am the manager of. We were there to record at Sigur Ros studio. They were months behind on their own album so they paid a ton of money to move us to one of the best studios in Europe, located in Reykjavik, named Syrland. In addition to that they loaned us all the gear we needed to do the album. Needless to say we had a blast and got to spend time in Sundlaugin (Sigur Ros Studio) and listen to them make this album. No Sigur Ros Today

I was supposed to be going to the Sigur Ros show tonight, but my friend who was getting tickets for everyone, asked his friend to pick them up and he never did. My friend was very upset about it. I tried to get in touch with the band but I only have their Icelandic mobile numbers and not the US mobile numbers. I love Sigur Ros, they are incredible. Check em out www.sigurros.com. Just sitting here listening to some music. I am a little sad. My former friend Mark, has decided not to take me with him to see U2 at the new basketball arena, here in Charlotte. I am glad he has shown his true colors now before I was burned by his lack of true friendedness. Mark I hope you enjoy the show, maybe I can see it from under this bus.

Sufjan Stevens

Sufjan Stevens pronounced Soofyan is an interesting new artist. He sounds like Bright Eyes meets Elliott Smith. He is currently in the midst of a very ambitious project entitled the 50 states project. The goal of this project is to create and record a album dedicated to all 50 states.
