This past week I went to two different movies. Last Sunday I went to the late showing of "One Night with the King". I first heard of this movie over at Doug TenNapel's Blog. I really enjoyed this movie. I thought it was done very well. I was expecting a typical cheesy christian film that they always showed us at the youth group I grew up in. Tommy Tenney who wrote 'God Chasers' apparently wrote the screen play for this film. The depiction of Queen Ester and her love for her people and her love for her husband the King was moving. Final synopsis: Awesome film. ☆☆☆☆☆
The next film is "The Departed". Wow! What a great film. I have to start with Mark Wahlberg. He was brilliant. He stole the show with is brief but funny one liners. Jack Nicholsen was awesome. He plays the sleaze ball so well. Leonardo DiCaprio is assigned to infiltrate the mob syn and Matt Damon as always stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park. Final Synopsis. Awesome Film. ☆☆☆☆☆
