Walk The Line

I just saw Walk the Line. For those of you who don't know it is about the lives of Johnny Cash and June Carter and how they fell in love. It was a great film about redemption. Phoenix did a great job portraying Cash. He seemed to capture the on stage movements and mannerisms. If you are like me and grew up listening to the Man in Black you will want to see this film.

Elizabethtown

I listened to Steve Whitby's advise and went and saw Elizabethtown. It was awesome. It reminded me of my family. The music was very well done. My Morning Jacket did well. Steve was right, My Morning Jacket's version of Lynard Skynard's Freebird was worth the price of admission. I thought Paula Dean did very well. I think this might be Orlando Blooms best role yet. Alec Baldwin had some very funny lines. If you get a chance, go and let yourself get lost in Elizabethtown. Here is a link to the trailers. Check out the one for the music.
